JMD Group
Cambridge RE Partners' co-sponsor is JMD Group (“JMD”), a Singapore-based real estate developer and investor. Founded in 2009, JMD holds a significant real estate development track record in Singapore and Malaysia, and actively invests in real estate globally.
Over the last 13 years, JMD has developed and re-positioned over 14 real estate assets with an aggregate gross floor area of approximately 18 million sq ft in Singapore and Malaysia, with a total gross development value (“GDV”) of over S$3 billion. JMD has also invested, as strategic investor and cornerstone, in real estate portfolios with aggregate value of appxoximately GBP $1 billion in UK and Europe. JMD’s development and management expertise includes residential, commercial, retail and industrial properties.
Notable deals include the S$80m prime office development on Scotts Road, Singapore, a portfolio of 8 conservation shophouses in Singapore with a GDV of about S$150m, two township developments in Johor, Malaysia, with an aggregate GDV of about S$675m and most recently, the divestment of the EUR $520m European logistics portfolio.
